Goodness gracious Snowden

This Edward Snowden stuff is getting too much. His face has started to appear in the most bizarre places. Like this crazy grow cabinets site for example. I mean really. Is this completely necessary?

He has done the world a favour but  I believe that he was trying to avoid the spotlight.

Well done anyway.

Slowly into zombiedom

It's catching like a disease. The new form of human disease taking the world by storm.

It's called Facebook Smartphone Disease.

If you want to get the disease it's simple. You probably already have everything you need. Get a Facebook account, and a smart phone. You know one of those posh ones with GPS and a camera. OK done. Now just start using Facebook on your smartphone and your infection can begin immediately.

Slowly, you change from a normal functioning human being into a monkey dangling an electronic device in front of your face like some kind of rosary as you navigate your confused world. Unware. Unaware of your entire environment 99% of the time.  Aware though of how many likes your ever so important recent comment has gleaned on the picture of your friend's lunch.

I live in the country a long way away from the city and these freaks have already started appearing around here. Miles from the city in the middle of the beautiful countryside - with much to see and now these diseased people even pass through these parts, clearly demonstrating their disconnection with the real world.

It's the beginning of the end.
